It was an unforgettable moments & experienced for me and my other friends. 8th September was the day where we went for our Iftar@Jamiyah Darul Ma’wa[Oprhanage Home]. When I first enter the place, I suddenly feel so sad and lots of questions plays in my mind. But I just kept it to myself.
During the Asar prayers, me & Shahida went to prayers room to perform our solat. Then I saw the “brothers” [what they used to call over there], just finish their bathing and prayers. They somehow proceed to the canteen and prepare for some stuff. On the way to the prayers room, we walk pass the brothers room. It was nice & very creative. The room is being designated based on their age [kids-cartoons, teenagers-their favorite football clubs].
At the canteen, the “sisters” & “brothers” Salam us. That’s when my tears start to drops but I control myself. Infact I do not know why but seeing them makes me happy. So there’ some activities going on and before they start off, they show us their PPT slides on what they have done. That’s when Huda starts to cry. With the background sound and looking at the kids seriously touch our hearts. But I as usual won’t really show how lovely and sad it was during those moments.
When it’s time for us to breakfast, 2 kids couldn’t wake up. They sleep at the canteen table and it was so difficult to wake them. One of the girl cry and I asked her friend why. And this is what she say to me;
L: Why she cry?
S: She don’t like people to visit her. Everytime when people come to visit, she will cry and don’t want to eat.
Imagine at a very young age, she is being left there without the LOVE from parents.
When the kids doing some performances for us, 2 kids[S & P] come and seat beside me. They share the same seat as me and we talk non-stop. S was a talkative girl whereas P likes to explore things. It was already time for them to go off to bed and that’s when P said to me “I LOVE YOU” by using sign language. That’s when tears start to roll and I don’t even bother if people saw it. With the final speech from the ustaz makes me realize that not many people really show their LOVE to those who needs it. Insyaallah if I were given the opportunity again, I will visit them. Amin!

Btw today was already the 5th day of fasting month. During this fasting month, I’m gonna learn on how to cook. Hehehehe=D [which means I learn 5 different dishes already..nt bad LINA]. This Saturday my family and I will be going to Geylang to buy some ingredients for our Kuih Raya. I’m gonna make 3 different kuih. Want to know what is it? Will tell you people soon=). Suddenly this year fasting month, I just recall back the memories I had with my families and also my primary school frewn. Let me share some with you people.
Families:
This year fasting month will only be the 4 of us. My lil bro,my parents and I. Since my sister and my bro-in-law have moved out to their new house, the “kecohness” wasn’t that much as before. But what to do, they have their own lives right? So seriously I can’t wait for this Saturday to meet & catch up with them. Hehehe!!
Frewn:
When thinking of what kuih to make for Hari Raya, I suddenly thought of Nadiyah Bte Samad. She loves “this” kuih that my mum makes. She will eat the whole container of that kuih. Hahahha!! Not only that, I have treated her as my sister. Everytime when we have remedial class, she will come to my house to rest & eat before we head back to school. Then she will sleep in my room, wearing the same shirt & shorts. When we woke up and ready for school, my mum will tie the same hairstyle for both of us. Whenever my mum bought for me and my elder sister hair accessories, my mum will also bought for her. In school, people will thought that we were siblings, not to the extent of twins as she much whiter than me=D. After my primary school, I have never met her for almost 5 years. And during my sec5, we went Raya with my pri sch frewns and that’s when I met her again. Infact, that was the last time I met her till now=(
*Thought of making her favorite kuih & pass it to her. Insyallah=D
tis is during my ATC..somehow "FINAL"...coz im gonna be busy with school=)i really gonna miss them coz im nt sure when will be the next tyme we gonna meet again...bt we can still meet up for our gathering...can see how ENJOYABLE we are??huhuhu=P

- Before entering school, we need to show our thermometer to the guards that were standing directly in front of the entrance door.
- In class, we need to take temperature taking TWICE and declare it. [ showing to our faci and sometimes the DIRECTOR of the school will come in to check]
- Lastly, students from different blocks were given different colour of stickers. This acts as our “PASSPORT” before entering the school canteen. And the worst part is that we can enter the canteen based on colour. Not only that, there will be an announcement made in the canteen for students to be back in class based on the time that have been stated. COOL HUH!![shall not elaborate much on this]
But if you think properly, they did this for the students. They did not want this “thing” to spread around and at the same time it makes me giggles. It reminds me of my Primary and Secondary School life where announcement will be made and students need to be back in class on TYME. Hehehehe!!!
Ever since I’m back in school, my friends keep on saying “WELCOME BACK LINA!!”..hahaz..it sounds as if I’m always never come to school. Actually some of the modules I did not attend because I’m down with fever, cough n etc..i guess that’s the reason they say that to me..hehehehe. Now the Hyper , Blur and Happy Lina is back=D
